Get camping in British Columbia and bring your camera. Whether it is adventure and fun, being on the open road, enjoying the splendour of nature or bonding with family and friends, we are looking for your best BC camping shot.

Win your category and have a chance to be the grand prize winner!

Contest Details

Take photographs of your camping trip in British Columbia - being active, having adventures, enroute to a British Columbia campground, reconnecting with nature or bonding with family and friends.

• Fill out the online entry form and upload your image no later than September 8, 2009.
• You may enter up to five images per category.
• All pictures must be taken in a camping setting within British Columbia.
• In your shots don't forget to include camping vehicles and equipment, such as: campers, motorhomes, tent trailers, tents, camping stoves, firepits, etc.
• Shortlisted contestants will be determined by a panel of judges for on-line voting.
• On-line voting opens October 5 until November 19, 2009.
• Winners will be notified no later than December 14, 2009.
• The Grand Prize will be awarded to the best outstanding category winner.
• The top winner of each category will be awarded a Mountain Equipment Co-op gift card taken by a person 19 years or older.

The winners will be determined by on-line voting and a panel of judges.

The Grand Prize

5 day RV Rental - 24/25' Class C Motorhome (value of $1,600)

• Includes 1000 kms, prep, convenience kits for up to 4 persons, and VIP Insurance.
• Winner is responsible to arrange pick-up of the vehicle in the Metro-Vancouver area.
• The RV rental is valid from April-September 2010.
• You must reserve your RV rental by March 31, 2010.

Family/Group National Parks of Canada Pass (value of $136.40)

• This pass provides entry into participating national parks across Canada for one year for groups up to 7 persons with a maximum of 2 adults arriving in a single vehicle.
• Please note, this pass only provides entry into the national parks and regular camping fees still apply.

• A widescreen navigator with voice-prompted turn-by-turn directions that speak street names and optional MSN Direct® services.

The category winners automatically have the chance to be the grand prize winner. The winner will be determined by on-line voting and a panel of judges.

While enroute to your British Columbia camping destination, just you and the open road ahead, roll down the windows and let the air flow through your motorhome, camper or trailer. This category photo must include a camping vehicle.

Camping in British Columbia can be a time to reconnect with the land and your sense of place. Capture majestic landscapes while in a camping setting in British Columbia. Whether relaxing on your hammock, overlooking a lake at sunset or watching wildlife.

Family and Friends
Camping in British Columbia is a great time for family and friends to bond. Enjoying a meal together, sitting around the campfire, playing cards or participating in an outdoor program. Be sure to capture your family and friend's magical camping moments.
