Get Camping in BC Photo Contest Rules

Deadline: Thursday, September 8, 2009 at midnight PTD.
Conditions:
- Photos must be taken in British Columbia at a campground, visit the Where to Camp page to find out more about the 600 locations. On the road photos are the only exception to this rule, but still must be taken in British Columbia enroute to a camping destination and include a camping vehicle.
- Photos must be taken during the 2009 season.
- Only original photography will be accepted.
- All prizes and prize packages are provided at the discretion of the Camping and RVing BC Coalition.
- Winners must accept prizes as they are awarded and abide by the conditions set forth by the Camping and RVing BC Coalition.
How to Enter Photos: Upload images via the Submit Photos page only.
- Select appropriate Category.
- Indicate where the photo was taken in the Location line
- In the Description box, title of the image and photo caption; please use your full name as the name of the file.
- Upload one image at a time.
- Maximum of 5 images per category, per person- JPEG format only; minimum size of 3MB when file is closed and a maximum of 5MB.
Judging:
- Entries will be shortlisted by a panel of judges to determine qualifying photos for online voting.
- Online voting opens October 5, 2009 until November 19, 2009.
- The category winners and the grand prize winner will be determined by online voting and a panel of judges.
- Entries will be judged on the basis of creativity, photographic quality, and how they express the theme of the category.
- Decisions of the judges are final.
Winners: All photos will be posted in the Photo Gallery. Check the Winning Photos page for category and Grand Prize winners. Winners will be notified no later than December 14, 2010. Category and Grand Prize winners will be posted during the week of January 8, 2010.

Upon submitting a photo(s), you agree to the following:
i) You represent that you own all copyrights in the photograph.
ii) You have or will be able to obtain model releases for each identifiable individual depicted or represented in a photograph.
iii) The Camping and RV BC Coalition reserves the right to publish all photographs and /or use them in any publications, displays, website and or promotional material without compensation to the photographer.
iv) Photo credit will be given where possible.
v) The Camping and RV BC Coalition reserves the right to adjust any deadline(s) as the result of causes beyond its immediate control.
