This recreation site is a good location for fishermen, campers and hunters who want to be off the beaten path a bit. A good boat launch but the road to the site is very rough so is not recommended for any camping or boat unit being towed. Sites are big though and have plenty of room. The clear lake with its marl shoals and weed beds is a fly fisher’s dream.

Directions
From Merritt, take Highway 5A NE out of town for 49 km. Turn right onto Peter Hope Lake Rd. At 5.1 km turn left onto Plateau Lake Rd. Follow for 4.4 km and take a right. Follow this road for another 4.1 km then take left down to the Lake. It is highly recommended to have a 4 wheel drive vehicle with high clearance to get into this lake.Photos
