This listing is for a tent or RV site in a relaxing forested 6 acre campground in the Slocan Valley. There is no septic hook up or sani-dump. Trailers must be <25'. There is shared community building with a kitchen, free hot showers, flush toilets, WiFi and electricity,. There are also picnic tables, hammocks, fire pits, and dry toilets. Nelson, Castlegar and Slocan Lake are all a 35 minute drive away. It is beautiful land with nice big trees and very few mosquitoes. Its an off-highway, semi-dead-end, in a rural residential neighbourhood, so its usually quite except for squirrels. Wild turkeys and deer often wander through the property. The level gravel road access is approximately 1 km from the paved road.
