Simon Sees Southern Vancouver Island, Part 1 Victoria to Tofino
Simon Ratcliffe, or better known as Simon Sees is traveling Southern Vancouver Island. In Part 1, Simon takes us from Victoria to Nanimo, starting at Simon’s home in Richmond, British Columbia and takes a ferry from Vancouver to Victoria and less than two hours drive brings him to rest for the night at Beaver Lake Resort in beautiful Lake Cowichan, where he found the amenities to be top notch and a babbling brook that lulls the campers to sleep. The next morning he pops in for a bite to eat at Jakes on the Lake before heading out in Lucille (his Jeep) and drives to Living Forest Oceanside Campground, which is right on the river. Simon shares a time-lapse of the set up of his roof-top tent and takes in the gorgeous sunset before calling it a night.
