Throughout the year, Camping and RV BC members attend Consumer RV and Lifestyle shows located in British Columbia and Alberta. At the shows our members provide information about camping in BC by answering questions, giving out complimentary camping guides (Super Camping and Go Camping), maps and brochure.

The Super Camping guide lists over 250 private campgrounds and RV Parks and the Go Camping magazine provides campers with over 340 provincial campgrounds to choose from located throughout British Columbia. To pick up your complimentary printed guide(s) visit your nearest British Columbia Visitor Information Centre located in communities around the province.

Programs and Events

Camping and RV BC members host a variety of programs and events designed for campers, Rvers and outdoor enthusiasts ranging from how to camp, provincial park passport challenge, educational and fishing programs to chilli cook-offs!

  • March 7, 2015 - September 5, 2015
  • Learn To Fish
  • At municipal, regional and provincial parks throughout BC
  • Learn to Fish with the Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC this year. This hands-on program for kids 5 to 15 is held at lakes throughout British Columbia. All equipment and tackle is provided. Parent supervision is required. The program is offered at municipal, regional and provincial parks throughout British Columbia. Click here  to find an event near you.

  • Share your best BC Camping story for a chance to win a prize!  The grand prize is an RV rental with a 4-night stay at any private campground listed in Supercamping of your choice. Other prizes are stays at BC Parks campgrounds, or Porteau Cove Cabins, and much more. Total value of all prizes is $3,000!  This contest is being hosted by Camping and RV BC Coalition (CRVBCC).   • BC Parks Passport Program
  • At over 200 participating sites throughout British Columbia
  • The BC Parks Passport is a two year program designed for both locals and visitors to BC and is poised to generate fun and excitement throughout the province. Passport holders are encouraged to experience over 200 sites to collect stamps and stickers towards prizes. To pick up your passport and more information visit BC Parks website.

  • Select Campgrounds across BC
  • The Inaugural Canada Camping Week (May 19-24) is is expected to have over 500 campgrounds across Canada participate. Currently, BC has 25 campgrounds enrolled with the anticipation of more to come! Other provinces, such as Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick already have over 300 properties enrolled!
