2021 Camping Appreciation Weekend

Mark the weekend of September 9-11, 2022 on your calendar, as Canadian campgrounds coast-to-coast participate in the 2022 Canadian Camping Appreciation Weekend.

UPDATE Oct 7, 2021:  The ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic affected campground enrolment in 2021’s Campers Appreciation Weekend, but we anticipate to be back to normal operations for 2022.

Camping is an affordable family activity that promotes a sense of community, creates life-long memories and encourages Canadians and International visitors to discover Canada’s rich landscape and engage with nature.

The Camping Appreciation Weekend is a national initiative coordinated by the Canadian Camping and RV Council to say thank you for your patronage over the summer. So we encourage people to come out and celebrate the camping and RVing lifestyle!

Care Camps CharityCampers across Canada in 2021 donated to Care Camps which helps kids with cancer attend camps to find hope and healing in the outdoors.

Please check back here for a list of participating campgrounds in early 2022.

It’s always a great day to #CampinBC

Another option for a camping experience is the Canadian RVing and Camping Week happening May 24 – 29, 2022.
