It’s Camping Month!
Wow, it’s that time again! Canadian RVing and Camping Month. From June 1 to June 30, folks from all over BC and Canada can jumpstart the summer with the spirit of Explore • Camp • Connect, packing in tons of outdoor adventures. Bring your love for the outdoors, your care for the Camper’s Code, and your big-heart and make a donation to Care Camps Foundation (Canada) where children who are going through the toughest battle of their life, can attend specialized oncology camps with their medical team and just be a kid for a week of fun camping.
We have raised more than $27,000.00 and it’s thanks to campers like you.
As we head into the last weeks of June, keep hitting the road, soaking in BC’s mind-blowing scenery, and making memories under the stars with your favorite people. Don’t forget to snap pics of your best moments and tag them with #ExploreCampConnect and #CampinBC, subscribe to the Camping e-newsletter for fresh trip tips, and keep an eye out for cool campground deals and events coming your way.

ABOUT CANADIAN RVING AND CAMPING MONTH
The month, organized and sponsored by the Canadian Camping and RV Association, is supported by the Camping and RVing BC Coalition to:
- Promote the lifestyle associated with camping and RVing a beloved part of Canadian culture. A national campground directory is available courtesy of Go RVing Canada.
- Promote responsible behaviour and respect by asking people to follow and take the Camper’s Code pledge.
- Raise funds to send children with cancer to camp via the charitable organization Care Camps Foundation (Canada).
The Canadian RV and Camping Industry contributes over CA$16.2 billion to the economy, employs 141,000 individuals. , and has seen its popularity boom amongst consumers since the COVID-19 pandemic.
Camping is an opportunity for families to spend time together, to create lifelong memories, and to discover Canada’s natural landscape and they have never been as important to the well-being of Canadian families as they are today.
CHARITY FUNDRAISING – Camp for a Cause
Since 2021, British Columbia supporters have raised over $35,700 for the Care Camps Foundation (Canada) , which allows children living with cancer to enjoy the joy, healing and freedom that comes from attending specialized oncology camps where they can just be themselves. The camp experience equips them with the skills necessary to meet the challenges they will face while fighting their disease.
