Close to Ashcroft, Barnes Lake is a popular fishing lake for rainbow trout. Fly fishing and trolling are the preferred methods. This camp site has 15 defined vehicle units in 3 separate locations. There are nine at the north end, one mid-way with a concrete pad, and 5 on the west/south end of the site. The lake water level can fluctuate causing boat launch at the north end to flood during periods of high water. Dogs must be leashed at all times.
