Bowman Point
Bowman Point offers a sheltered anchorage for boats, in the creek mouth. This east facing site catches the early morning sun. In the evening, the sun sets early behind the mountains giving relief from the heat of the day. Tenters have the choice of level areas under the trees, or the beach. The treed sites are separated from each other by rocky outcrops. The beach, at lower lake levels, is pleasant to hike along. Fishing at the creek mouth is good.
