A popular destination for anglers and those wanting to explore Nootka Sound. Great views looking out over Tlupana Inlet with many campsites and room to tie up at the dock.

Directions
From Gold River, head north on the gravel road and cross over the river. Just after the bridge, turn left and then a quick right onto Head Bay Forest Service Road (towards Tahsis). Turn left onto the Nesook Mainline 20.5 km past the Tahsis road junction (25 minutes or so). Drive past the log sort and up the hill (great view overlooking the inlet). The site is located on the right at the bottom of the hill. It is 39.6 km from the highway junction in Gold River to the entrance to Cougar Creek Rec Site (approximately 50 minutes or longer if you’re towing a boat or trailer).Photos
