An open, grassy campsite. Downstream of the road bridge there is a short walk to a double waterfall and canyon. Use caution at canyon edge. The campsite is popular as a base for hunters.

Directions
The site is accessed either from Canal Flats or Radium. From the 4-way stop in Radium, drive 19.9 km northwest on Hwy 93. Turn southwest on Settler’s road. Turn left on the Cross River FSR, then right on the Kootenay-Palliser Road at the 12 km mark. Once you reach the 32 km mark turn right onto the Kootenay River FSR. Drive southeast along the Kootenay FS Road 7.8 km, take the right turn and travel 700m to the rec site. Watch for the 45 km mark (Kootenay FS road). The south access from the community of Canal Flats is a 45 km drive north along the main Kootenay FS Road.Photos
