The site is small and offers good access for all types of camping. The site is alongside the Flatbed Creek. There is a short 800 metre easy trail that leaves from the recreation site that can be hiked in 45 minutes return trip.

From Tumbler Ridge, drive 32 km east along the Heritage/Boundary Road. The site does have highway signs to identify its location. The site is on the east side of the bridge and off to the south.
