This recreation site is a popular location for fishermen, hunters and campers. A mix of shady and treed sites under large Douglas Fir trees. The site can accommodate small to moderate sized camping units. There is no boat launch on site but there is a public boat launch located near the west end of the lake just as you enter the community.

Directions
From Merritt, the best way to get to Glimpse Lake is to travel east along Highway 5A past Quilchena on Nicola Lake. Exit onto Douglas Lake Road and travel approximately 7 km until reaching the intersection with Lauder Rd located just past the hydro station. Turn left onto Lauder Rd and travel approximately 16 km up the highway’s maintained gravel road to get to the Glimpse Lake North site. Please drive slow while travelling through the community located just before the campsite.Photos
