Gordan Bay Provincial Park has a warm lake and a sandy beach; great family swimming. History buffs find plenty to interest them in the park and the surrounding area, which is home to a second-growth Douglas-fir forest. In Vancouver Island’s sunniest valley, this area has the highest average temperature in Canada. Spectacular fishing in spring, fall, winter, with waterskiing and windsurfing in the summer. Campground open year round. Park Size: 51 hectares WINTER RATES APPLY – Gordon Bay open with full services from Mar 30 to Oct 31. After that, a portion of the campground is open for winter camping; winter camping , Nov 1 – Mar 29, during which time a winter fee in effect, (no water or firewood).
