The recreation site is popular with fishing, hunting and camping enthusiasts. Not suitable for large trailers or RV’s but great for truck campers, tent trailers and tenters. Both shady and sunny sites are located here.

Directions
Located north of Pike Mountain. From the junction of Highway 5 and 5A/97C, south-east of Merritt take Highway 5A/97C for 23 km east to the Aspen Grove turn-off. Follow HWY 5A south for 24 km and turn right on Pike Mtn. Forest Service Road. At about the 1 km mark turn right, proceed 1. 7 km and turn left, go 0.4 km further and keep to the right and drive 7.3 km up this rough road. Turn left here and drive the 0.5 km narrow road into the north end of Johnny Lake.Photos
