With over 1 km of sandy beach and 4 campgrounds; Sandspit (113 sites), Redfish (19 sites), Osprey (18 sites), and Friends Campground (39 sites including 13 with electrical hook ups, and 1 group site. Kokanee Creek Provincial Park offers Kokanee Creek Paddle spot rentals, hikes with a park naturalist, Kokanee Salmon spawning channel with viewing platforms, a nature center running Jerry Rangers through July and August, and Nelson nearby. Also, epic mountain biking, Kokanee Marina, Kokanee Mountain Zipline, Balfour Golf Course, and Ainsowrth Hotsprings all within 30 minutes of the park. Park Size: 260 hectares

In southern BC on Hwy 3A, a 20-min drive, 19 km east of Nelson on Highway 3A- or if you travel west, take the Kootenay Lake ferry from Kootenay Bay to Balfour. From Balfour, it’s another 12 km to the park.
