Loon Lake is a small lake surrounded by a mature spruce forest. The site is easily accessible and centrally located in TFL # 14 making it attractive to family campers, fishers and hunters. The site was upgraded and rehabilitated in the fall of 2011. Most of the 10 campsites are accessible by small trailers. A short drive along the Summit A Road at km 21), takes you to Summit Lake, Rocky Point Lake and Three Island Lake Recreation Sites for further fishing opportunities. A 4wd vehicle is required to access these remote sites. Fishing brings in usually medium sized trout. Varies with seasons.
