Sasquatch Provincial Park
Sasquatch Provincial Park has a series of pocket lakes, a unique second-growth and birch forest, and scenic mountain ridges. This park is ideal for small motor boating , canoeing, kayaking, hiking, picnicking, and wildlife viewing. Sasquatch Provincial Park also offers 7 km of hiking trails, 3 boat launches and canoe kayak , and stand-up paddleboard rentals are available at the Hicks Lake boat launch. 3 campsites at Hicks Lake (72 sites), Bench (64 sites), and Lakeside/Deer Lake (42 sites) a group campsite, and a day-use area,. Park Size: 1,217 hectares WINTER RATES APPLY - Sasquatch open with full services from Mar 29 - Oct 15 (Hicks Lake campground – Bench campground only opened as needed). Lakeside (Deer Lake) campground is open year round with winter camping dependent on snowfall. Winter camping - Bench and Hicks Lake- Walk-in camping is not permitted if the gate is locked Lakeside (Deer Lake Oct 14 - Mar 28; winter camping fees in effect.
