This site was recently rebuilt to accommodate more users. It is possible to accommodate motorhomes, but the access road is very rough for 9 km and only RVs with a shorter wheel base should attempt it. The site itself is on a nice beach with a boat launch and opportunities for all manner of large lake activities. Site has on-site supervision.

Directions
From Port Alberni, follow Highway 4 along the north side of Sproat Lake toward Tofino. Cross the bridge over the Taylor River at the far end of the lake , in 400 metres turn left onto the Nahmint / South Taylor Main Forest Service Road ; the entrance to the main site is 9 kilometres on the left; there is a second entrance approximately 150 metres down the road with more sites.Photos
