Stamp River is a year-round destination and well known for the annual run of Pacific salmon, which wait in the pool below Stamp Falls before moving up the fish ladders on their way to spawning beds. Viewpoints along the river offer excellent opportunities to observe the nature phenomenon of the salmon fighting their way up the falls to spawn. They can be seen along the Stamp Falls in June, July and August. Relax by the waterfall at peaceful riverside Stamp Lake Provincial Park or explore the area by foot on hiking trails that weave their way through the lush forest, past waterfalls and river rapids.
