Stawamus Chief Provincial Park and Protected Area
The park boasts a 700 m tall granite monolith, a world renowned big-wall climbing mecca and bouldering destination. Or take a day hike to one of the three main peaks, 2 to 5 hours on steep terrain rewards you with sweeping views of Howe Sound and the surrounding mountains, as well as a great place to watch for climbers, kite boarders and the rare Peregrine falcons. There are 75 sites (per person registration)18 sites are drive-in small vehicle only, 57 walk in tent pads, drinking water, day-use area, and no campfires in this park. Park Size: 530 hectares
