Stone Mountain Provincial Park
Stone Mountain offers travellers and hikers spectacular views as well as incredible wildlife viewing opportunities in the northern Rocky Mountains. For the more adventuresome, backcountry hiking routes lead to mountain valleys decorated with alpine meadows and lakes. Trails are available for horseback riding with a letter of permission. 28 vehicle campsites, wilderness/walk-in sites, numerous trail systems, a day-use/picnic are and a boat launch.
