If the night is already very dark and your fire is almost dead, there is still an incredible snack to enjoy.
Buy a French camembert cheese in a wood box. With a fork, prick it at different places. Roll your camembert and its box into aluminum one or two times. Place into the embers for 10 minutes and it is done! Note: embers must be still warm but not burning.
Use the melted cheese on top of potatoes (that you can also make in the embers) or dip bread in it like a fondue. And here you have a wonderful meal…

Serves 4-5Ingredients 1lb of ground beef (or meat subsititute like Round Ground) 1 medium onion 1 green pepper 2 tbls of mustard 2 tbls of ketchup (or BBQ sauce) 2 tbls of Worchester sauce 1/2 tsp of salt Instructions

Great salad to make if you have leftover noodles or are tired of hamburgers and hotdogs!Ingredients 1 bag or box of rotini noodles 1/2 red onion, finely chopped 1 bag/carton of cherry tomatoes cut in half 1 cucumber chopped 1 cup of shredded cheese of your choice (or crumbled feta) 1 can of sliced black olives, drained Italian Dressing Instructions
Cook pasta according to directions. Drain well and let cool for 10 minutes. Add all veggies, cheese, and as much of the dressing you like (1/2 a bottle? You don’t want soup!). Dish up and enjoy.... Continue Reading
